VCSL, the complementary library to VCSO

Post by alex stone »

VCSL is an additional library complementary to VCSO 2 CE, from VersilStudios.

It contains nearly 4GB of additional instruments in the .SFZ format. In my testing, all of the instruments work fine using linuxsampler as the sampler player. The quality is what you would expect, and balanced across both VCSL and VCSO 2 CE, which is always a bonus.

The VCSL lib is currently located at github,

The lib is licensed as open CC0, so you can mould and shape it however you want, if that's your wish.

This lib has been out for a little while, but I've seen it mentioned very occasionally, hence this gentle bump. Given the overall quality, and balance, for what it is, I think it's worth a look.
