I'm not sure about that - indeed it'd be nice to update both the favicon and the main logo to be consistent (and perhaps the title font), but beyond that I think this option fits in the current theme pretty nicely.

Yes, that looks sharp. If you look at the current site_logo.png the dimensions are 100px x 50px with alpha. If you resized yours to 50px high and knocked out everything that isn't white or black to transparent it should drop in perfectly.

Yeah, if using transparent logo from the post above. The original blue color doesn't fit with the forum theme.

It is a drop-in-edition (with transparency instead of the blue in the favicon) made for example to drop over the site-header, something like this:

The blue header will shine through were the transparency is. Above illustrations are just quick made examples where It is dropped over a sample I took from this site header not real scaled or correct positioned.

The first favicon is a clear winner so I've put that up!

Switching to a whole new logo as Jarle proposed still seems nice, but branched that off in a new thread: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=16832

Is the favicon not working atm? I don't see it in browser tabs. I try /favicon.png or /favicon.ico and it's 500 error.
