EDIT 2
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Wine#Sound
This page hinted at installing 2 packages and then it worked
Code: Select all
yay -S lib32-pipewire lib32-libpulse
Problem solved!
EDIT 1
I seemed to remember that this used to work with my old distro Linux Mint, so I downloaded it, bootet from a stick and installed wine and MIDI-OX, and voila it works!
So what is it that Linux Mint has out of the box that EndeavourOS doesn't?
Both wine versions 6.0 and 8.10 worked on Linux Mint.
Arch/EndeavourOS uses 8.9, so this doesn't seem to be about the wine version.
ORIGINAL POST
MIDI-OX is a great program for debug, sysex dumps etc.
http://www.midiox.com/
..but when I run it with wine on EndeavourOS it doesn't find any of my midi devices.
Did anyone get MIXI-OX working on linux?
I read https://wiki.winehq.org/MIDI, but that didn't really help me..
All my midi devices works great in Bitwig Linux
