Some my music videos

Post by peter.semiletov »

Hello! Here is some my music videos those I made in previous years.
Deformation (2020) https://youtu.be/9v8BsZBLHpk is made in Blender/Makehuman/Kdenlive, and music is written in Ardour.
Oosheltsy (2020) https://youtu.be/aMj1-fqgZPg is even more darker themed, the name of video cannot be translated properly, "Ушельцы" means "they who went out", maybe "beings who went to another side of the reality". To create this video I've made the fixed version of Makewalk https://github.com/psemiletov/makewalk, to use natural movings of 3D human (and non-human) models.
Destruction of all things (2018) https://youtu.be/a3jb_XUxD6Y (Ardour/Kdenlive) was filmed near the Kiev's dump near Pirogovo.
Trali-vali (2018) https://youtu.be/lBQJv6QME4Q - more lighter video with my strange dances, Ardour/Kdenlive. Filmed also at Kiev.
The last two videos are linked with the main slogan "trali vali v ritme techno".

Nice videos, great creativity... Thank you for sharing, I enjoyed it. For me, the darkest one is "Deformation", squashing the lady's face like that... I found it difficult to stomach...

I find the music quite somber, I have to say (although with great punch and sound design), it is certainly in tune with the videos... In "Oosheltsy" I loved the dancing characters, particularly the guy in a suit... As someone who knows nothing about 3D animation, I find all of this very interesting... I'm currently getting into making videos for my music, and trying to see the creative side of it...

In "Destruction of all things"... I wish you hadn't taken your mask off :) And in "Trali-Vali", I like to see that you, like me, belong to that rare species of musicians who also like to bust a move now and then... Great job...

The music sounds really good. Some great sounds too. What do yo use besides Ardour? Hardware, or is it all software?

Thank you! All music is written in Ardour (Yoshimi, DrMr, etc, some sound fonts), and good old "robotic" speech synth from Atari via the emulator.
