I'm a train

Post by kamiluni »

Hi to all,
this is my last track:

https://soundcloud.com/kami-luni/im-tra ... al_sharing

It was not easy to mix this track, to get all the instruments to play and to find the space for each one. I hope I succeeded, but please tell me what you think.

I hope you enjoy listening it, adn I will apreciate all your comments.

Thank you!
KL

Good track. The low end could use some more presence though, in my opinion.

kamiluni,

I am not very much into this style of music presented here. Yet it drew me in, and I found the lyrical presentation as extremely good. I choose to avoid the why, as it is pure opinion, and my opinions are far from mainstream almost always. Thanks for sharing, and job well done.

Cheers!

Hey hey, really enjoy your song, the subtle syncopation in the opening bars was a nice hook, a surprise in the beat machine era! The instrument choices are then modern classics, and easy to listen to. Lyrics are important, and it's nice to hear confidence and determination projected rather than victimitus! I'll listen more carefully after some sleep. Thanks for sharing your music.

Also not my style I listen to, but this is well done. The one thing I don't like is the auto correction on the vocals.

Thanks to listen to all and for every word! <3
@Impostor: you are right!...I corrected it (but not reloaded on Soundcloud)!
@lilith: thanks for your comment. The auto-correction you mention is an hard-tuning effect during the verse and it is an artistic choice to give real hard chromatic step on some notes (as Cher did in 90's) , but I am aware that it may not appeal to everyone :)
