Hey hey, I'd like to share my latest piece:

OGG version:

This is a jazz/big band ballad. Realised with LinuxSampler and DrumGizmo. I used my old commercial BOB Orchestra Brass library with the SampleTekk Yamaha 7CG piano and the free Rickenbecker bass SFZ.
It was inspired mainly by a track from the Sunday Night Orchestra call Light in green and some of the big band incidental music of my favourite radioplays. Though if you look up either or both you will see that the inspiration was used freely.
This was the first time I tried my hand at anything properly "big band-like" in a jazzy context, so it ended up as a mixture of jazz and my own melting pot of styles.
I hope you enjoy it and can relax with it.
Best wishes, Jeanette

Very nice music, lovely atmosphere of sounds, wide palette of styles and melodic pictures.

Re: I Lean to You
It reminds me of Angelo Badalamenti's style, which is very unique. And this track is also very unique, as it sounds like a mix of classical, jazz-fusion, lounge, ambient and minimalism. Liked it very much!

Re: I Lean to You
A quite unusual track, and definitely not what I expected when it started! I like the last part more of the rest, from when it gets quieter at ~ 4:00m (a Hammond would have sounded amazing playing that part!) to the delicate piano outro. The first part is nice rhythmically, but I'm not fond of the solo brass sounds, which I feel took me out of the track a bit. Still a really groovy track though!

Re: I Lean to You
Thank you @Rainmak3r ! Yes, the brass isn't up to standard. It's an old library. It can work well in an arrangement. But for this piece it had to be in such an exposed position.
Thanks for your kind and open words. Good feedback is always appreciated.
Best wishes, Jeanette
