I don't generally use loopers but was curious if the Android platform has any live-looping programs, mainly to record and play audio loops in a live situation - equivalents of Freewheeling, SooperLooper, Kluppe, Giada etc?
Of course, I hear a lot of stuff about Android audio not being ready for primetime in the latency department as of now - and I don't have an Android device - so can anyone comment on the situation on the ground in the regard?
Thank you

Re: Android live-loopers
Bump? Fellow Linux brethren, anything? Please?
FWIW the use-case is live-looping an acoustic guitar through a mic (be it the Android device's built in one or an external one).

Maybe this? https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... tack&hl=sl
I haven't had time to check it out, but there's a youtube video in the description.
Maybe the situation with audio got better now... I have a Galaxy S I and the lag can be noticed. There's also some stutter when using cpu intensive music apps like G-stomper or some groovebox apps. Other apps, for example Electrum drum machine or a 4 track recorder work fine. My experience (with the old galaxy and android 2.3), as long as you don't change anything when the sound is playing, it works fine.

Re: Android live-loopers
Ah, sorry for my prolonged absence from the boards.
LoopStack looks nice, paperplastic
Anyone know the situation with Android audio on Jelly Bean devices - versions 4.1 and 4.2? Any improvements?
