after a long time distro hopping I wanted to give AVLINUX a try again and it looks really cool. I just installed it and looks all good so far.
only thing: I cannot find a way to run my soundcard , a rme multiface II. usually i installed alsa-tools and there was a hdsploader / hdspmixer I could fire up and all good. any idea what i am missing here? Thank you!

I believe you'll need to install 'alsa-tools-gui' package... I stopped including it because as you know a lot the mixer utilities are for good (but quite old) hardware..
