Rest with Me

Post by spamatica »

Hi folks,

This little song was actually imagined on New Years Day of 2022 and subsequently recorded during January. Finally got around to posting it.

https://soundcloud.com/cdee/norra-gladjen-rest-with-me

As usual recorded and edited in MusE.

I hope you enjoy.

As I knew before even downloading it: it's a great mix. I love the diverse guitar work, the way you introduce the tremolo or auto pan guitar in the intro is very smooth. Very nice drums, both in sound in playing!

Haha, sometimes it's fast but more often it's sloow. I found another "forgotten" song I was gonna post, the origins of that recording is at least a few years pre covid.
Thanks for listening Folderol!

Thanks Jeanette!
As most of my stuff, this is a pretty simple song, still I'm a somewhat amazed how quickly this song got written. The recording however took many hours of down mixing and listening.

Great song (that is the one you emailed me earlier)! Straight forward in a really good way, and excellent production (and singing)!

But I am not sleepy

Wow, this sounds really great. Also the vocals are very good, I would not find this track out of place in a professional (forgive me this word) indie rock album.

Very nice song! It gave me the vibe of a soundtrack to a road trip movie :D
Particularly impressed by the vocals, very well recorded!

This is a very nicely done recording. I do like its qualities, lyric, instrumentation, mix, all top notch to my ear.
I intend to share this SoundCloud track with a few non-linux folks, maybe giving your work slight additional exposure.

Continue down your path!

Hey guys, so much thanks for your kind words. :)

@Basslint no worries about calling it Indie  , might have negative connotations for some but not me. I mean, it's a broad word, can mean almost anything but some of my favourite music from yesteryear definitely is Indie. As soon as I get around too it I'm gonna post a song - very different different from this - which is a definitely a love letter to early century Indie-pop.

@baconature, makes me happy that you want to share it with others!
Btw, is it baco-nature or bacon-ature? It's been bothering me :'D

@oscillator, indeed it's the same song I shared with you earlier, just maybe five remixes later
