I don't know who that is, I will have to check that out. Thanks! I don't have any monitors, just a pair of crappy small speakers that I found in the garbage room of our apartment block. When I get the money, I think some monitors would be nice.Michael Willis wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 5:56 pm I finally got to listen to this a few times, with headphones and studio monitors. It's nice and immersive. Something about it made me think of an electronic musician called Amethystium.
Yeah, Surge is a great piece of software. I should donate. We are really spoiled with great audio software for GNU/Linux.Michael Willis wrote: ↑Thu Jun 10, 2021 5:56 pm I was wondering if you really made all of those sounds with Surge, and then you clarified that Surge was the only synth that you used. I'm curious what settings you used on the reverb. I would guess that you used Dragonfly Hall with a long decay time, 0% early reflections, and a really subtle late level.
I've attached my Dragonfly settings. I put it on a Aux track (send effect) in MusE, so most of the synth tracks are sent to one reverb. I just got lucky, I'm no producer. A big thank you to the guy who wrote the Dragonfly reverbs, he is on this forum somewhere.

Ah, and here is part two. Now when will the film be released? Much more like a soundtrack. I love the textures and the subtle yet room shaking low end! Besides you certainly made an excellent case for Dragon Fly, if they ever think they need one! It beautifully glues everything together. This SciFi saga will have a sombre end in deed.

Ha! I made up the last three presets in the "Effects" bank because I really wanted a couple of plate effects. The way I programmed it, every bank needed exactly five presets. It was easier to make up a few extras on the spot rather than overhaul the preset system, so... thus were created Brick Wall, Echo Chamber, and Long Tunnel.
