Hi from Costa Rica!! Pura vida!!

Hi there, greetings from Costa Rica.

I'm here to learn how to record music on Linux and make new friends too.

First I started playing a little with Guitar Pro 5 on Windows and now I use Guitar Pro 6 on Ubuntu Linux and basically I have created a few tabs but never worked on recording them with my system.

Also I have recorded some music using a mixer connected to my sound card and Audacity.

Now on my Ubuntu installation my challenge will be to record my music with the following software:

• Hydrogen: For drums
• Guitar Pro 6: Additional guitar and basses, maybe keyboards too
• Ardour: To record and mix everything

I hope I could get all this working soon, also my gear consists of:

• Ibanez JS100
• Laney LV200
• Korg AX3000G guitar pedal
• Aristedes Guzman #9 Electroacustic Nylon Guitar
• Zoom A2.1u guitar pedal
• AudioTechnica microphone (don't remember the model now...)
• My voice and my computer
