Controlling JACK transport with MIDI CC

Post by skbzk »

Recently I got Nektar Impact LX25+, it has 6 transport buttons that send CC signals 102-107 by default. I'd like to use these buttons but there is no way to assign MIDI CC to control transport in my DAW (Qtractor). Any suggestions?

Hi @skbzk,
I have a LX25+ too, you can change the transport buttons to send MMC instead of CC, it is described in the LX25+ manual.
If you have problems i can be more detailed.

in mix, nobody can hear your screen

@LAM Thank you! I totally missed this section in the manual. I have everything set up, but not the loop button. Can MMC send simple on/off signal for DAW looping?

Yes, you can set a button as a toggle.
At Page 16 look for MIDI CC Toggle (toG), you have to assign Data 1 to "127" and Data 2 to "0", so when you press the button it toggles between 127 and 0.
