Destroyer of Worlds (Techno)
Another Techno Track:
https://soundcloud.com/lilith_93/destroyerofworlds
I bought Mixbus last week and exported the stems (without reverb) from Bitwig to Mixbus do to the final mix there. I could also do everything in Bitwig but I thought that I get things done more quickly when separating the production and the mixing part as I'm not going back and forth all the time. In this case it worked. I just added the reverb in Mixbus and did some minor equing. And I like the mixer of Mixbus a alot and working with 100% Audio data is much more
clear. The downside is that Mixbus is consumes quite a lot of CPU power. I think when doing everything in Mixbus I would hit my limit very early.
The track is also very simple and has only 14 tracks

Re: Destroyer of Worlds (Techno)
Wonderful intro!
Great buildups and sounds and production!
The only thing I don't really like is the drums. I find the kick is a tad to "clicky" and the snare too much like noise.
The synth sounds are great!

Another amazing track... I don't know enough of electronic music to provide feedback, if not to say I liked it

Re: Destroyer of Worlds (Techno)
Thanks, I agree with the kick, I'm currently trying to fix this, but I like the snare as it is. The kick has to much above 100Hz and too little low end at around 40-50 Hz.oscillator wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 7:46 pm Wonderful intro!

Re: Destroyer of Worlds (Techno)
Cool soundscape. Really liked the atmosphere with the noise in the background.
As was already mentioned the kick sticks out a bit, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. The kick led me on a chase for the song Blue Monday, I just couldn't remember the name or who made it. Found it in the end Not that this song has more than the kick in common... no matter.
Very good mix!
