Hi,
I am kind of new to creating music on Linux, so my problem may seem to be trivial for you. However, I downloaded Dragonfly reverb plugin (LV2 format), unpacked it but I can’t install it. When I turn on Ardour and click 'scan for plugins', nothing new is found. What should I do? Note: I run Fedora.
Thanks a lot!

Re: Incapable of installing LV2 plugin on Fedora
I just installed it from my distro's repository using apt package manager but I guess Fedora repository doesn't have it. Just put it in ~/.lv2 (create directory if it doesn't exist) and make sure that directory is in Ardour's list of scanned directories. You can put it anywhere really as long as you tell Ardour to scan there, but it's best to keep it tidy.

Use the incredible linuxmao copr repo by ycollet https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs ... /linuxmao/

@sunrat that’s the thing. In Ardour I can only to set the directory for VST plugins.

Re: Incapable of installing LV2 plugin on Fedora
Put it in your home folder in a sub-folder called .lv2 and Ardour should pick it up.

@Baggypants I forgot to mention, that I am a Linux n00b. I have run all the commands I found on that page, but don’t know, what to do next.

dnf install dragonfly-reverb, or search dragonfly-reverb in the software centre. But it seams you solved it another way.

Re: Incapable of installing LV2 plugin on Fedora
Yeah you're right. I wasn't in Ardour at the time and didn't check.
Still the default user LV2 directory is ~/.lv2 as I said and you subsequently found anyway.
