LMMS x64 1.2.2 + WINE 5.13

I made LMMS 1.2.2 work with WINE 5.13 together and included some free working Effect VST Plugins from "https://vst4free.com/".
No more WINE regressions with my VST Plugins. I made this for myself but i want to share it because i think it's a cool project.
It is portable and should run on every modern Linux 64bit Distro. No installation required.

Download this file:

Unzip to a directory and read the README.TXT file.

Important Note:
In order to use the VST Plugins you have to alter the settings in LMMS, change "PLUGIN EMBEDDING" to "No embedding".
Otherwise the Plugins won't display correct.

I did not include any instruments because this would be a very large archive then.

Many VSTs will work thanks to WINE 5.13.

I tested this with Ubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu-Studio 19.10 and Ubuntu-Mate 19.10.

Wow, nice work!

I have to admit to never using LMMS but I gave this a try and it runs here on AV Linux 2020.5.10 (based on Debian 10). My only issue is the fonts are pretty terrible, any idea what font I'm missing??

That's strange, seems like a Wine related Font issue.
I can't reproduce this Font problem so i can only guess whats the solution.

You can try to download the "MS TrueType Core Fonts" and put them into this folder:

~/.wine_lmms64/drive_c/windows/Fonts

You can also try this:
The font is installed but it seems you have to increase the "dpi" screen resolution.
Run "./run_install_vst.sh winecfg" and under "Graphics" set the "dpi" value from 96 to 120 or higher.

Maybe i install AV Linux in a VM and see what i can do about the Font issue.

Hi i have a download lmms wine version,but in audio setting don't recognized jack audio and don't audio out. I have a studio music 64 remix debian buster + kx studio repositories. Best regards from Naples ( Italy)

Because of the WINE emulation there is no Jack driver but SDL and Portaudio should be used instead. Are they available with your setup or do you have no sound device to select at all?
You can always use the AppImage version of LMMS if you really want the Jack drivers.

Hi , i have used maudio firewire solo on gnu linux with driver ffado. When i setting lmms wine version on portaudio and pulse audio i wiev activity on mixer lmms and triple oscillator synth selected or crystal ( dll windows x 64 version) but in out of my monitor don't sounds play/ out

If i used native version app image lmms for gnu linux,it work with jack audio,but wine and crystal synth don't recognized.

Do you have set the Pulseaudio output to your "maudio firewire solo" device? (you can setup Pulseaudio e.g. with "pavucontrol")
Did you restart LMMS with the correct settings enabled? LMMS requires to a restart to initialize the sound system.
