Just some clips (free to use) from some site, I think pixabay (?), that I stitched together in kdenlive. :)

Interesting, great energy. It's amazing what everyone's producing on this forum. Even though it's not my kind of music I'm taking the time to appreciate others' creativity :D Well done.

Nice track! Guitars remind me of good old Die Krupps, or Paradise Lost in the "Symbol of Life" era. My only notes would be about the drums, which don't "kick" enough IMO: in an Industrial track I'd expect something to kick deeper, like Die Krupps' Isolation. The male vocals seem a bit out of tune as well, but that may the poor speakers from my laptop (I'll listen to it again later with my headphones on). I liked it a lot though!

PS: Love the logo using the Iron Maiden font

Hi!

Great track and video! Really like the driving synths and guitars, I would second the suggestion for the drums to have more "wallop"... To be honest I don't know much about producing Industrial tracks but to me I'd like to feel a big fat kick drum sample hitting me in the guts.. There is a lot of upper mid range and treble stuff going on but hardly any bass present either as a prominent bassline or a kick. What you have there is mixed very well but the song to me feels like it's been high passed at 250 hz or so..

Good point, something I will think about and correct on the next song. Because I also like those heavy kicks! :)

The visuals are stunning! Very nice job of choosing clips and stitching them together.

Thanks a lot! The videos are always rushed, taking maybe 1-2 hours. But it is fun. One day I am going to put some more effort into the video.

I did it once, doing my own computer animation, based on a 3D armor that I modelled and sold (those were the days). No libre software (except Blender) in this one: https://youtu.be/nSCJia2OEGg. I remember making the song in 6 hours, and spending exactly the same amount of time on the visuals. :)

That's quite a catchy tune as well!

Interesting song.. What is this song about? Can i see the lyrics? This kinda gives me a 90s vibe idk why Lol.

@hm11 . Thanks a lot for listening and commenting!

Writing lyrics is nearly always a very intuitive and quick process for me. It kind of writes itself when I have found a theme (which usually comes from the music).

It feels very 90s for me too! :)

Here are the lyrics:

The light

You fall
fall from the sky
Taste the stench
of years forgotten

Call for me
and I will come
For years on end
I will make you
understand

Call for me
call for help
there is no shame
I will make you
understand

You fall
fall from the sky
there is no need
to feel forgotten

Come and see the light
Walk with me
A world made out of light
Walk with me

Come and see the light
We will show the light
Once you see the light
We will show the light
