Wow this is really impressive. Interesting oscillators, beautiful sounding filters, and lots of modulation possibilities. I'm more of a modular person these days but I'm going to be playing with this a lot more in the future.

Definitely interesting, especially for a free synth!

The download section says VST3, but I *think* the Linux version is actually VST2? Or at least Reaper is not reporting it as VST3...

Sure, it's JUCE-based and hasn't VST3 in Linux yet.

This looks very promising! It's too bad I'm terrible at making synth patches. :) Currently it doesn't have any included.

2.0.17.beta is available, AVX processors no longer required.

So I've been following updates to this, and the dev's been doing a lot of fixes and adding new features, like unison and most recently an arpeggiator/step sequencer section. Which is all pretty neat, and certainly makes this even more appealing.

The unison, however, seems to eat up a lot of CPU, when I compare it with other similar synths, like Surge. Like, multiple times Surge's CPU usage when testing with a simple single oscillator saw sound and maxed unison. Which may or may not be a big deal, depending on your computer and how many instances you're running...

I played last time with it and thought it's nice. Now I checked some presets and wow! This thing sounds amazing!

I'm entering the KVR One Synth Challenge which features Odin2 this month.
The Linux vst is a regular vst2 although the download seems to say that it's a vst3, a bit confusing.

Lovely synth to program.

Hi,

Stupid synth-illiterate question....

Where do y'all keep your odin presets, I downloaded the presets file but I'm not sure where I should put them... in the home folder or '.vst' folder??
