Seeing you "live" in those guitar tutorials was great! You're from Canada?

Excellent song + video! It's like "Musik Non Stop Part 2"... Very well caught the vibe...

Re: [MUSEIC] Maschinen Aesthetik (Kraftwerk tribute)
Thanks! When I found the old video clips from early 1970s, I thought that Kraftwerk must have seen and been inspired by them!

Re: [MUSEIC] Maschinen Aesthetik (Kraftwerk tribute)
I'm curious about how you got to replicate Kraftwerk's sound so accurately; did you use soundfonts, or tweaked synth parameters until you found similar sounds? I'm starting to toy around with synths and it always take me a very long time to "sculpt" the sound into something usable. Any tips for a newbie?

Re: [MUSEIC] Maschinen Aesthetik (Kraftwerk tribute)
The drum sounds are samples played by drumkv1. The kit is from some old samples that I dl'ed like 15 years ago from somewhere...Nachei wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2020 10:31 pm I'm curious about how you got to replicate Kraftwerk's sound so accurately; did you use soundfonts, or tweaked synth parameters until you found similar sounds? All synth sounds are created by Surge. I usually just find a suitable preset and tweak it until I like it.
If you would like to inspect the song further, I can send you the files.
Thanks for listening!

Re: [MUSEIC] Maschinen Aesthetik (Kraftwerk tribute)
Thank you for your kind offering, but I don't think examining those files would help me; I guess it's just a matter of me practicing changing parameters and trying things until I get an ear for it... At least I don't have to build my own instruments like the Kraftwerk guys did...

Re: [MUSEIC] Maschinen Aesthetik (Kraftwerk tribute)
Ooo, so many new songs, I can't keep up
This one was the best one, very true to the style.
Liked the videos both from this and the other one from archive.org, good reuse of public domain video!
