Re: Audio assault plugins @ linux
Hi ufug!
I don't have any Qtractor installs anywhere, I tried Carla, same dealio... I guess as long as it's working and keepin' the presets I won't rock the boat.. I'm always surprised how well many of the Windows ones (with LinVST) register from Ardour.. *shrugs

It looks like Sigma (or Si6ma or whatever the correct spelling is) is only free until Monday. So if that's something that interests folks, better get on that soon.
Artist name Ben Enkindle. Making electronic music exclusively with Linux software.

It's blacklisted no matter where I place SigmaVST.so.
Anyone got this to work? Reaper can't find either.

Sigma working fine in Reaper 5.987
standard Ubuntu Studio 19.10 (installed apps up to date.)
kernel 5.3.0-24-lowlatency #26-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT
nVidia 3D driver
And will get a lot of use here because the sound and ease of use
are in great shape.

Re: Audio assault plugins @ linux
I I was about to ask if everyone is on Ubuntu because I am on Arch so that could be it. I use Hardware amplifiers anyhow so it's not a loss for me I just wanted to test it but I usually don't use software amplifiers because I don't get the proper respond as I get from playing an amplifier but hopefully this will work on Arch for any guitar players out there that's using it.glowrak guy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 10:12 pm Sigma working fine in Reaper 5.987

i'm using it on linux mint 19.3 (ubuntu derivative, yes)..
sometimes, once in a while, the gui comes up blank/black, and i have to remove it, and reload it again, but then it works..

Re: Audio assault plugins @ linux
That is odd. If you want any info on my setup then please ask. I'm not using any DE, if that's of any relevance, WM is Compiz (0.9).funkmuscle wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 6:27 pmHmm, I have a PC 2 laptops running arch and it's not working on any of them.turbidh20 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 2:27 pmWorks for me in Mixbus.
