Time to make some noise? So, you got inspired?
If so, then 'time to make some noise' is one of the best compliments ever!
It most certainly contributed to producing an inviting mood to create.

Hi.

After freshen up my account on Soundcloud plus adding some information I discovered some 'Hearts' and 'Followers' whom I want to thank for. So I uploaded another song, Sapere Aude. I have added some information about myself, like that funny story of my first 'drum kit'.

Thanks to all who listened to my music etc.

I like that new track. Progressive synth rock is cool stuff.

I don't have a Soundcloud account, but maybe you can answer this question for me. Is there an option to allow visitors to download your tracks? I know there are ways to grab the audio, but it would be nice to have a "download mp3" button. I might consider getting an account if I could make downloading my tracks easy. I've always felt that this was an important part of using Free Software to make Free Music - making it freely available.

At least there's a checkbox to enable for downloading.
When enabling this checkbox a red colored message appears:
Distributing content without permission is unlawful.
Make sure you have all necessary rights.

It says also the track will be able to download in upload format.
So, I have enabled this for Sapere Aude song, but did not try - doesn't make sense to me.
It should download in .mp3 with variable bit-rate low compressed sized 7103 Kb.
If you can download then the answer must be: yes.

After saving the changes there appears an option Download original file under ...More.

Yes, there is now a download link on that song, hidden in the menu under the "... More" button, but I have to have a Soundcloud account in order to download the file! Thank you for the info, that is helpful.

There's also SoundCloud pro, but one needs to pay for it. Also I can't say if this will change anything on the ability to download Songs for non-members of SoundCloud.

Hi.

In between of 2017 and 2018 I worked on a conceptual work called: The Seventh of Eight

This was based on the idea to have seven songs in a rhythm of 7/8. After I composed the first seven songs in 7/8 I found an interesting arpeggio sound in ZynAddSubFx. So I started The Seventh of Eight Vol. 2. Again seven songs in a rhythm of 7/8, but based on that arpeggio synthesizer sound from ZynAddSubFx.

In 2019 I planned to publish this 2nd conceptual work on YouTube, but after finishing the first video I was finished as well.
Too much work to do, running out of inspiration for the videos, computer crash etc.pp.

Tonight I have uploaded this complete conceptual work to my account on SoundCloud.

Have fun!

Note 1: no, this is NOT inspired by Star Trek's Seven of Nine, as many of my people suspected.
It cares about the seventh note only! :D
Note 2: this kind of music is NOT made to listen to it while doing the laundry etc.

About soundcloud: I now upload only compressed files (ogg). I used to uplaod wav files, although I think now it's not worth it.

If I remember correctly they had a bug in their converting software that caused glitches.
