Good find!
Also, watch the best plugin trailer ever!

I'm not sure if this is real or if they're trolling us.

Re: Auburn Sounds , release free plugins on, VST and LV2
I tried all three Auburn plugins this morning in Mixbus using the VST versions. They work flawlessly and sound quite good.
The Graillon is quite something. It's not going to put Antares out of business, but playing around with the settings it can yield some gentle/realistic results or go full-on Cher. As far as I know, there is nothing truly comparable natively on Linux. The paid version offers a few more features but the autotune works in the free version.

Hi, its my first post on this Forum
I tried all three plugins. Couture and Graillon seem to work well. But Panagement crashes all the time. I tried the LV2 and VST2 version in Ardour 5.12 on Ubuntu 18.4. Can anyone confirm that?

It happened to me too, but you can help improve by reporting the bug on the site

That's my plan. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't the fault of my configuration.kuacgraxa wrote:It happened to me too, but you can help improve by reporting the bug on the site

Maybe it's an OpenGL problem. I had such a problem when the Helm synth was using OpenGL for its GUI and I had an old X-server on my notebook computer that didn't use the builtin graphics chip's hardware acceleration.Kott wrote:And I found that Couture makes X-server to eat all CPU time, tested LV2 and VST.

I'm doubt that's due my X-server. Though my GPU is not so fresh, other plugins works normally as other both Auburn plugins.bluebell wrote:Maybe it's an OpenGL problem. So, noone has such issue with Couture ?

Re: Auburn Sounds , release free plugins on, VST and LV2
I'm having crashes with Panagement as well. Constantly, for that matter. It's crashed on Bitwig, Ardour, Harrison Mixbus and even when using it as a standalone effect with my keyboards with Carla. I've had X come to halt completely under LXDE and I've had to use ctrl+alt+Function key in order to escape the window manager.
I'm glad to hear the two other plugins work, as I was ready to deem all three not worth investigating more after the crashes.

Re: Auburn Sounds , release free plugins on, VST and LV2
Hello,
We are really sorry for the half-baked Linux release in last September.
Today we are releasing a new version of all our plug-ins that should fix Linux problems:
- Graillon v2.4
- Panagement v2.2
- Couture v1.4
Here is a list of things that were fixed in Linux:
- Fix plug-ins crashing when opening or closing the UI, in almost all hosts
- Fix VST3 not detected in Bitwig
- Fix Panagement crashing in all Linux hosts
- Improve CPU load of open UI
You can read the whole changelog and find downloads here: https://www.auburnsounds.com/blog/2019- ... pport.html
It's not impossible that there still are Linux bugs, in which case do not hesitate to continue reporting them at: contact@auburnsounds.com
Our open-source plug-in framework Dplug is the worh-horse behind those plugins: https://github.com/AuburnSounds/Dplug
