How do I learn Rakarrack?

A lot of guitar related linux apps don't appear to work on my system (Linux Mint 19 in Cinnamon), and I don't yet know why or how to get them working, but before I tackle that, I am mortally confused by the plethora of settings in Rakarrack which IS working on my system. My system is an ASUS Z97 Pro motherboard with an Intel 4690 and 32 gig RAM. It's aging and modest by some standards, I know, but it's quite stable and I don't plan on building another system for 2 more years if then.

How do I interpret and learn without a lot of confusion what various settings in Rakarrack do, and how to set them?

Also, the names of individual modules may generically relate to
widely used commercial/freeware plugins, where tutorials and
and youtube videos can be your encyclpedias. Love the search engines.

Also, one of the forum members here, ssj71, labored many hours
to port the individual modules,

viewtopic.php?f=48&t=13419

and they now can then be used with
the simple jalv.select command, a utility-gui like a standalone
lv2 plugin host. The gui lists the lv2 plugins you've installed,
and when you choose one, the available presets are presented to choose from.

a folder exists: /usr/lib/lv2/rkr.lv2
