Hello everyone, Chob here. I've been using Mint for about 9 months. I'm trying to record audio through wineasio/JACK through FL Studio 10.
I feel like I've gotten pretty far but I'm not sure. When I start FL Studio and Jack server is running through QJackCtl, I hear the startup sound. When I try to choose an input via the FL mixer, FL Studio returns the message "Error while creating the ASIO driver". QJackCtl returns this message:
Wed Feb 20 15:20:45 2019: Disconnecting 'system:capture_1' from 'FL:in_1'
Wed Feb 20 15:20:45 2019: Disconnecting 'system:capture_2' from 'FL:in_2'
Wed Feb 20 15:20:45 2019: Disconnecting 'FL:out_1' from 'system:playback_1'
Wed Feb 20 15:20:45 2019: Disconnecting 'FL:out_2' from 'system:playback_2'
Wed Feb 20 15:20:45 2019: Client 'FL' with PID 6005 is out
Anybody know what the issue could be here? I tried registering both wineasio.dll.so and wineasio.dll in each folder they appear on my system.

Re: Array of Issues in Recording Music Through Mint
Hi!
Have You managed to solve the problem yet?
For some time I've been using Reaper under Mint LMDE2/wine without any problem.
Try installing jack, wineasio, kxstudio-wine-meta, kxstudio-default-settings, and cadence instead of qjackctl if You haven't tried yet. All from kxstudio repo. Maybe this would help.
Good luck!
