Post by rncbc »

Hello again,
  • Qtractor 0.9.5 (valentines'19 hotfix) is out!
Changes for this hotfix release are as follows:
- HiDPI display screen support (Qt >= 5.6; patch by Hubert Figuiere, thanks).
- Fixed for DSSI plug-ins (eg. fluidsynth-dssi) loss of configuration state: clear internal config/state keys on release virtual method. (REGRESSION)
- Fixed for NSM (and JACK) sessions not saving the correct file references/symlinks of clips that are recorded or created during the initial and scratch session.

Thx for this cool tool. It's my favourite DAW – although you don't call it DAW.

This might be a problem with Gnome (and Qt), but when trying to move or resize certain dialog boxes, they are fixed in position and size. In some cases, the main application window is moved/resized instead. Is this a known issue?

I don't know if you or somebody else makes sure that Qtractor is available in the KXStudio repo, but will it be?

You ought to ask the kxstudio devs instead... In the meanwhile, you can always take use of the yours truly provided AppImage. ;)

Definitely another gnome insane misbehavior (as a WM at least).
