Feel free to send your comments !

It was produced under Kubuntu using : Schism Tracker, Audacity, Ardour, Jack-Rack, Rakarrack, Rosegarden, Rezound and ZynAddSubFX. Many samples are from the free sound project (http://www.freesound.org/tagsView.php), more details are available on Jamendo.

Have a nice listening !

Hi.

Haven't listened to your song yet, but I'm interested if you have your schism tracker working with jack and how?

Thanks :D
I really appreciate that, especially coming from a talented one (I like a lot you work on "The Tribe")!

Ok I don't read French and I've clicked everything under the sun to try and hear it but nothing plays or comes up.
Sorry, I'd just like to hear it.

Cheers.

And salut DoosC, like the song! Sounds a lot like Loquat. A little showstopper for me is the guitarpicking though, it's a bit too clear that it's either a bad sample or that it was played by someone who doesn't master the instrument well enough. But again, good song, very contemporary, I really dig this genre.

Hello Chip, it's a little Flash player so when you have Flash installed it should work.

Hey thanks Auto for the comparison, I didn't know Loquat but they have a nice sound.

I realised we are almost neighbours I live in Luxembourg and you live in Netherlands, funny.

Yeah for the guitarpicking I know what you mean and your diagnosis is right : very cheap mic + cheap soundcard + cheap guitar + recorded in a bedroom + beginner guitar player = not perfect result. I tried my best to correct the sound by EQ'ing and etc but my science in such things has limits

Anyway I can't blame her for that (I mean Adeline, the girl who both sings and plays the guitar in the song), cause we have small budgets and I even don't know how to play guitar

Hey Chip,

did you try the "Download" button on that page ? : http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/65138

you can freely get a .zip archive containing an .mp3 of the song + a .jpg of the cover, you might be luckier that way :D

Maybe it's an idea to cut up the guitar part into pieces and do something exciting with it. I don't know if you know the Smasher software, but it's very well suited for getting results like what Lali Puna (from their classic Faking the Books album, they just released a new album btw which is excellent also) or James Yuill (AMAZING song btw, one of my current faves) are doing.
