DubKa

Post by tongo »

Hi everyone,

I made a new dub song that you can listen to there:
https://soundcloud.com/olive-evilo-8994 ... 42-session
Or there with a video : https://youtu.be/-Z3qdMiaqzs
There is some explanation on how it is done from 5 minutes, but it is in French.

Leave me a comment if that tells you.

See you .

Heavy! Really nice sounds, and adding an explanation to the process is very generous and a great idea (although I don't know french).

Thanks for sharing (times 2)!

thank you for your feeback on Dubka and on the other sounds .
I wanted to explain the métod i used for make my tracks , because i thinks if i wasnt have found explanation wen i began music under linux , it have been not possible to understand how it's work .
That's not tutorial explanation just to show and give somes ideas to other persons .
And it's because i thinks that's work better on youtube when there is some things to learn in the vidéos .
Maybe later i going to try to speak english for the explanation ...
See you .

Hey hey, I enjoyed the chaotic element of that, quite avangard playing in two keys at once. :) The bass is massive, but from an audiophile point of view the mix is sometimes a little too unbalanced. The bass overshadows everything else and pumps. I know this can be desireable, though a little more "timing" to the pumping would help then.
Still, a fun track! Thanks for sharing!

Hello , thank for the feeback .
Two Keys at once , if you're sure , i can to trust you , but that is not do on purpose .
All the samples used and the melodys i've created are on the same keys , but maybe they're not on the same scale of the same key ... I don't know .
And i ' dont know if wat i say is understanble with my poor english .
I've try a lot of thing on the master maybe a bit to much , there is a lot of master vol automation to keep "quiet" somes part and boost up somes others . And the limiter i 've put on the master track is too much trigered by the bass sounds , but it was too much or not enough and i've chose "too much " on purpose .
Thank for your very good listening !

see you .
