I listened to the whole album. My favorites were Wires and Raspberry Jam. It's pretty incredible what you are able to do with only Yoshimi.

Many of the tracks seem like they could be appropriately placed in a video game :) . I gotta say that I like Rasperry Jam the best. Wimpole is also very good. Nice work!

I make music as Tenaba! Bandcamp

100% YOshimi? I expected nothing less of you. Even knowing it a priori, you still manage to impress and surprise me. The kick and bass sound so real! I love the new sonic signature. Yes, there are some old favourites, but the very vibrato friendly leads, the phasey one after that and the hammond-organ like sound are brilliant. They give me a very 70s vibe. Something which may have come from the radiophonic workshop. Thanks for sharing!
Best wishes, Jeanette

I think some tracks are very different from your previous work, but the emphasis on melody stays. I hear a lot of Caribbean influence, is it just me?

I think the synth work is great. I have to say that I prefer your more atmospheric work (and here it's in Wires) but you did the right thing by not sticking to the same genre, experimenting is always nice and I think this album is very musical. I agree with the comments about videogames, some PC games from the early 90s had this kind of feel.

Thanks again everyone. I find it very interesting which tracks people prefer. I don't compose with specific targets, it's purely a case of what ideas pop up - so I've no idea what the next one will be

I started using Yoshimi's parent, Zyn in 2006, so have become pretty familiar with it, yet it still surprises me sometimes. As Jeanny noticed I now use it pretty much exclusively, which has the... ummm... benefit of often spotting bugs before anyone else has noticed. Along with the observations of a few other developers and users this experience has greatly shaped Yoshimi's features.
