The forest air
It is a nice composition, but I think the slightly mechanical synth sounds don't do it justice. There is no decay on the sounds, they should have more time to disappear. I know the harpsichord is a very "pointy" instrument!
The slow spring
Wonderful mood, both musically and visually. I liked this a lot. There was time and space for the notes to enter and slowly disappear.
Irrevocable time
I liked the dynamics a lot. As well as the tempo variations. Those big reverbed chords are very very good.

Oscillator, thank you for versatile feedback!
I have taken note of your comments and advice. Frankly, it’s hard for me to play cleanly, I have no musical education, but I’m studying to be a photographer)) If looking for photography as music)) In the summer it’s hard to sit in the city with guitars, keyboards, and carry it on a hike ... there are compact options, yes, but .. So many things, the weight of the backpack is harder... Last year due finger tech to hiking, I didn’t play and didn’t compose all summer, + 2 months spring-autumn. As a result I forgot how to play, and restored my fingers until about the new year. Now I'm trying the midi guitar and writing something from musical drafts in a notesheets, playing music on it right in the tent)) M.b. use Musescore and solar power blocks... You go to travel in your country?
Have good summertime!

I am going to the countryside in the south of Sweden this week. Will bring my field recorder and a small laptop, and experiment with outdoors composing, thanks to your inspiration

I really like the video for that second song, very nice scenery. Those would have made nice photos too.psyocean wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 7:56 am Oscillator, thank you for versatile feedback!

Re: The Forest Air + bonus
Beautiful compositions as usual, even though I agree with @oscillator that the first one may have too "sharp" sounds, which I think is especially noticeable in the trumpet solos. That said, since it's a very baroque piece, it also makes sense for it to sound like this. My favourite track is definitely "Irrevocable time", which brought back memories of the piano works by Robert Holmes.

@psyocean you seem to be doing great without formal music education! Not that it is useless, on the contrary, I think it can help bring some ideas alive, but not everybody feels the need for it, I guess. Keep on!

Re: The Forest Air + bonus
I very much enjoyed 'The Slow Spring', but the others didn't appeal to me at all.
P.S. being an old fogey, I'd have preferred more 'traditional' cross-fades on the video
