Post by psyocean »

Hi, brothers of freedoom! Khe, freedom, of course

One of these weeks I have finished record of new composition "The mind eclipse".
Most work for this I create on Synth-DAW Korg M3. I begin leaning this instrument :) I think it need 10 years for amateur lvl :D
One voice - cello in the track I create in sampling mode from SFZ-samples cello which find in NoBudgetOrchestra free sound lib.
Final processing and exports be execute with Audacity in Ubuntu Studio 20.04.

The composition is really good, tragic but sober. It's really moving. Perfect for documentaries or films. But also to be played in theatres by a real orchestra.

That trumpet sounds good, and gives me a kind of Balkan feel.

Nice instrumentation, and beautiful melodies! I agree that it would be awesome to hear this song with a real orchestra (why don't we all have one :) ).

Thanks for sharing!

Good composition as usual! I wonder if the outcome could be slightly improved with more realistic VSTs: it would not sound like a real orchestra (which yes, we'd all love to have  ) but maybe it could give a different "flavour". Even though if I recall correctly you mostly work with a hardware keyboard for that, is that correct?

Rainmak3r, if I understand, need some schemes tech process) Ok, all secrets for you  In past I connecting midi-output with midi signal from Muse, Rosegarden, etc on Linux Studio and direct it on sound module Roland XV-5080. Now I buy else one parasite))) Korg M3, with inner seq. Combine metods for create Notestaff - Directly alive play on Korg, or notestaff make in Musescore and I feed exporting midi-file via flash into Korg, and continue recording. Sounded inner patches or Roland module, or make from samples (SFZ, SF2, Wave, etc) instruments for Korg M3. Than miximg-export audio and again working with file in Audacity :)
