Really nice soundscape and a groovy yet relaxed feeling.

What software did you use?

MusE DAW running on Debian 11 Testing/XFCE4.

A very particular style! It almost feels like a point'n'click adventure OST.

@artix_linux_user interesting and entertaining track, I like the panning effect on the snare.

Hey hey @artix_linux_user this is a nice track. In my ears it's a tasteful combination of the better disco and more modern electro. The bass suggests that groovy feet shaking disco while the drums put in much more interest. And yes: I love phasers!

There's something "harmonically unsettling" (which I assume is deliberate). You've got a ton of phase-shift (or flanging) on those background chords, so it's hard to discern the notes being played. But it sounds like there's a minor chord against a bass line that includes the major third. It reminds me of the chorus of Elvis Costello's "Accidents will happen" where Steve Neive plays a C major organ chord while Nick Lowe plays an ascending bass line of the notes C, D, Eb. The difference in frequency ranges deemphasizes the dissonance, and makes it just unsettling.

I like the samba-bass work! I also like the drum parts, very relaxing. :D
