Hi all,
A new video, this time with the Korg M3R.
The set was done "au nature" and in one take...not a lot was added. I plan to do a "studio version" of it, with more effects.
But then again...
Two instances of Zynaddsubfx, the Korg Monologue and...(introducing) the Korg M3R, the latter playes the patch "reflection".
The Monologue did the growl...and did it nicely too. That was a patch I made for this set. But, it's simple...the longer atack and decay, and the ring mod are the key ingredients, here.
Hope you like it, thanks for listening...
Please let me know what you think
Thank you
Melissa

Re: New sounds...
Thanks for the feedback
I used a Korg M3r for the deep sounds that come in later, the patch is called "reflection", the growl somewhere even later if from the Korg Monologue, I needed a slow upcomming deep sound with a longer decay, the Monologue does that perfectly.
The other sounds were Strings pad 6 and Soft Piano (2 if I recall, I do need to start writing that stuff down ) from the Zynaddsybfx
No effects were used, as this is the "live" version, the "studio" version should/could have...the reverb is added by the synths as an effect, though...
The sequences are taken care of by the Seq24...I yet have to get the 64 or the 42 but as they are not in the repo of the OS I use...they may need to wait...
Thanks
Melissa

Happy Easter! Well, that reverb did sound absolutely great I know I don't usually leave detailed comments on your tracks but I wanted to know that I appreciate what you do and it's just because it's very distant from my world and I would not know what to say, except to keep it up because what you do brings peace and it's something we need

Thank you so much! Live performances are a "high art" to me as one has to have all the parameters just right onthe right moment. More a sport than music at some pointsjeanette_c wrote: ↑Sun Apr 17, 2022 9:11 am As put elsewhere: this is a gorgeous sonificaion of the void. You really take to live performances!
