Cold Sky . Lilith 93 . (Drum and Bass)

Post by lilith »

Just finished another track. Kind of DnB again. Hope the bass is not too loud, I can hardly hear it on my speakers

Happy listening and Happy New Year!

Thanks for sharing this. It's been too long since I enjoyed D&B and this was enjoyable. Nice sounds and production.

Great track, love that dry sound after 1:30 and the voice-like sound later on.

MusE DAW running on Debian 11 Testing/XFCE4.

Ups. Need to check if maybe the Reverb was deactivated, but if it sounds fine I guess it's ok and I leave it.

The voice is a vocal, just pitched one octave.

For some reason it reminds me of Stephane's Picq soundtrack for the first Dune videogame by Cryo, and in part also his work on Lost Eden: the Dune OST, especially on the Amiga, had the same kind of vibe and atmosphere (minus the more present percussions), and I love that!

Thanks. Will listen to both albums tomorrow. Never heard of him.

Good track. You always punctuate your tunes with fantastic little bits of ear candy. Well done!

Great tune, sounds very professional and wouldn't sound out of place in any DJ mix. Well done!

Hey @lilith, I often listen to your music and comment on it positively but this time I've really been struck by how professional this track sounds. Congrats! 8)

Thanks, I think one trick is to tune everything to the used scale. Kick, Snare, Cymbals. At least I did this for this track. Sounds instantly more harmonic and right. But I also spent some days with mixing and listening on different speakers.
