The Elder Brothers - "Nature's Way"
New Video from a new Band! This is the Elder Brothers performing their arrangement of Spirit’s - “Nature’s Way”. Recorded Live with a Zoom Livetrak L-20 and then bounced into Ardour 6.9 for a few post-production cleanups. Video was edited in Cinelerra-GG.

Re: The Elder Brothers - "Nature's Way"
"Elder Brothers" made me think of some fantasy track full of elves and swords and sorcery!
Jokes apart, amazing performance: I'm not familiar with the song, but I loved your version of it. Besides the perfect sounds as usual, excellent choirs as well! And kudos to the drummer for singing while playing: I can't even *talk* while I'm playing as I start to mess up...

Thanks for watching! And yes give the original band 'Spirit' a wiki google sometime, a very weird lineup and back story!Rainmak3r wrote: ↑Mon Jan 17, 2022 4:20 pm "Elder Brothers" made me think of some fantasy track full of elves and swords and sorcery!

Hah! I also thought what if it was called the 'Eldar Brothers' and we could go full Tolkien but as my bandmates are all over 70 and are like mentors and big brothers to me in some ways we thought the Elder Brothers was an apt name. And indeed, I drum in one of the side bands I play in and I dread when the setlist rolls around to my 5 songs I sing lead on because it is a brain full and then some to both keep time and sing in tune..

Great singing!
I like the song, but haven't heard the original, and the sound recording is excellent!
And I like the choirs as well as well as the careful guitar solo. Really nice track!

It has the same open, breathing atmosphere of "See the moon smiling". Very good vocals. A great production, especially from a live recording.

Nice to see and hear your lovely Telecaster again. That is a very understated but effective guitar solo. And the group together has a nice balanced sound. Thanks for posting this.

You could always call yourselves "The Elder Brothels", and dress up like 1880's "Madams of ill repute" in just lacey corsets. That would certainly get you noticed.

I'm always impressed by drummer-singers. But the others did not disappoint, either - nice vocal harmonies! And great classic rock combo. I agree that the Telecaster solo was particularly good!
