New album: Voices of black holes

Post by ycollette »

Hello,

I just released on Jamendo a new album: Voices of black holes.
These are musics mostly psychedelic and space oriented.
Made using VCV Rack, BespokeSynth and Audacidy.
There are some classic instruments used: Ukulele, Kalimba and voices.

The cover is made using gimp.

I've just started to listen to this, but I will get back to it. I really like the soundscape.

Thanks for sharing!

MusE DAW running on Debian 11 Testing/XFCE4.

This is very different from your previous work. I like it a lot. I like the gentle plucking sounds in the second track, layered through delay and thick reverb. Such a nice texture! Just enough melody to be musical, and enough repetition to be hypnotic. The third track has nice marimba-like sounds. Even the more droning pieces are interesting to listen to. I like the low percussive sounds at the beginning in Pillars of Creation I.
