Just one more time

Post by jeanette_c »

Is not a Flower King's cover nor an interpretation of Britney Spears. It's what might happen when you cross breed 90s rave/electro with 10s Martin Garrix clubbing sound with an extra dose of analogue synths:

There's a bit of Yoshimi in there for the diamond lead, plucks and pluck layers. Beyond that there's my Neutron, MiniBrute 2s, Microwave XT and the JV for hihats. The vocoder is done in Csound, as is the boom.
I already got a comment or two demanding yet more bass in the mix... Perhaps next time. :)
I find myself using more and more parallel processing and love how my DAW Nama keeps up with my ever increasing demands.

I'm always impressed with the stuff you are making - it's not always my cup of tea - but it's always interesting!

This time, I'm liking it a lot. I love the start, the build up, and the main theme. I'm trying to work out what the words are in the break?

This could well have been on a mix tape (or minidisc) of mine in the mid 90's. Nice one.

I like this a lot, both the composition and the choice of sounds. Those synths really sound crisp and clear!
