Hi Michael, this is funny. I have a feeling that you might feel a little more comfortable in a slightly higher register. It's good that you mostly delivered it with confidence.
I can certainly sympathise with the qualms of recording your own voice. It took me some time and I still don't enjoy it much and the results can still be mixed. But what can you do but practise and find "your voice".
