If you were going to start with Kraftwerk, then add a little unique touch and transport the whole sound into modern times: you have succeeded with flying colours! the bass sound is sublime! the coldness and emotional void are chilling. I love that!

Thanks a lot @jeanette_c! If I ever make an album, I'd love to use those words as a quote on the record sleeve!jeanette_c wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 5:16 pm If you were going to start with Kraftwerk, then add a little unique touch and transport the whole sound into modern times: you have succeeded with flying colours! the bass sound is sublime! the coldness and emotional void are chilling. Very cool compositions, I enjoyed them a lot!
I probably liked Produktion a bit more for a couple of weird reason: the first is that, although it's a very different genre, it reminded me of Nothing at best by Pineapple Thief, one of my favourite bands (maybe the bass riff and how the third jumps up and down making it sound alternately minor and major), and the second that it has a much cooler video with those 50s recordings

Thanks a lot!
I haven't heard of them so I checked out that song. Cool hypnotic beats and riffing, really good!Rainmak3r wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 1:26 pm I probably liked Produktion a bit more for a couple of weird reason: the first is that, although it's a very different genre, it reminded me of Nothing at best by Pineapple Thief, one of my favourite bands (maybe the bass riff and how the third jumps up and down making it sound alternately minor and major),
I agree! I am limited to what I can find that is public domain, though.

I really liked these pieces. @jeanette_c said it better than me, but I love the emotionless soundscapes, like music from the planet Vulcan. I liked both pieces, but I think Korruption was the better composition. It has a Home Computer kind of vibe.

Yeah, by chance (?) I stumbled upon that Pocket Calculator-ish sound, and it fitted well into the song. Some preset in Surge I modded.
Thanks for listening and commenting, @milo!
