Loved it! Great bass sound!

Hi @oscillator , space music is right! I love it. It's so Berlin school. It can live very well on its own as the piece of music that it is and it could very well serve as a soundtrack. It's very arresting, dark and wide. Thanks for sharing!
Best wishes, Jeanette

Thanks a lot @jeanette_c! It was a fun piece to put together! My space music stuff from ten years ago was mostly just drones. It is more fun to compose and bring in some changes in the harmonics and arrangement, I find it increases the story-telling aspect of the song.

Nearly missed this!
Lovely contrast between the slow (yes spacey) pads and the rhythm - also like that way that fades and comes back. Then there's those very quiet details.
Totally captivating.

Very cool, at first I thought it was "Gate of Alderaan" like from Star Wars. Cool project!

Yeah, a bit similar! Aldebaran is a star 65 light years away from us in the constellation Taurus, which is "my" constellation. The "Gate of" phrase is borrowed from Blade Runner ("Tännhauser Gate"). It could be some kind of warp station, I don't know, I only make the music!matterisvoid wrote: ↑Mon Jul 05, 2021 10:46 pm Very cool, at first I thought it was "Gate of Alderaan" like from Star Wars.
