First Bandcamp Album
I finally got around to this after a loooong time prevaricating. It's just 8 tracks, some older ones revised with better timing and instrumentation and some completely new. If you're interested it here:

Re: First Bandcamp Album
As ever you created beautiful textures and clouds of sound to get lost in. With my rather depressive disposition half of the tracks were much too light hearted. You have a talent to create a friendly, warm atmosphere! But the sapce themed tracks (between the stars andVoyager) showed one other side of your approach: boundless width. Dark mist also struck a chord. Hours and Hours had really neat drums. I assume those were the "acoustic kits" from the Yoshimi banks?
What can I say: full of beautiful patches and hypnotic ensembles!

Wow! Thanks a lot for that expansive review Jeanny. It will keep me smiling the whole weekend
Yes, The drums were from the Natural Drum Kit and Natural Snare. The really are excellent aren't they?
Percussion is always my weakest point so it took a long time to get that to a point where I was happy with it.

I listened to this while I was out driving with my wife, and she didn't complain about it! That is actually a high compliment coming from her. When it comes to music, she is a little hard to please.
I enjoyed the album. It is full of nice ambient textures, very soothing.

Congrats @folderol! Publishing an album, even now that the Internet makes it easier, is not just slapping some mp3s on the web and you showed it to us: the tracks show great commitment and consistency. Beautiful music from someone I consider to be one of the "sages" of the FLOSS audio community!
Hours and Hours is such a beautiful track, I think I've rarely heard electronic music so beautiful! It reminds me of Ryuichi Sakamoto.
I think what you shared with us can teach us a lot about music and introspection. I hope everyone will take their time listening to this, and am certain that someone will find consolation in listening!

Re: First Bandcamp Album
Hi Will!
Late but glad to have snatched this gem out of the lengthening list of great tunes we have in our forum these days. Congrats on your album release!
There is a beautiful luminous thread that runs through all of these that inspires peace and tranquility and has actually moved me to tears in a few places. I hope you have at least an inkling of what a unique gift you have and how wonderful your works are as a respite from the troubled times we are living in. Great work, look forward to more collections!

Wow!
Thanks a lot for that Glen. That really makes all the effort worthwhile.
Mind you, I'm sure you agree that this is just something in us that we have to do.
