Lyrics
Words are falling from the sky
Things have changed, and I wait
I have never sold a moment of my life
All my secrets rest inside my heart
There is a star that shines for me
there is a moon that lights my way
There is a star that shines for me
and fireworks light up my sky
I have never sold a moment of my life
All my secrets rest inside my heart
And when the grass turns bitter gold
The winds have changed, it's for the best
Once the pain has gone am I to be myself
sing the words that grow

Quite a melancholy composition and mix, and the vocals are great! The compression on the kick is a pretty nice touch as well.

Lovely texture and arrangement! The guitar work is very nice. I did enjoy the melancholic, hypnotic atmosphere a lot.
On my system the bass - overall - appeared to overwhelm the trebble and high end. And I have a feeling Kajsa was a bit out. Usually it didn't really matter, but when the cleaner guitar on the left came in, the pitches clashed. It was a good performance, just a little out of tune.
That said, it remains a great song.

I want to thank @oscillator for this opportunity. Not only he got me to record something for a band I immensely enjoy but he also turned it into something beautiful, despite me not being a virtuoso!
Last year Ennio Morricone passed away and when I recorded my guitar parts, it was like a prayer for him, my arrivederci to the maestro! @oscillator originally thought this as a synth-based piece but after hearing my takes, he came up on this "mariachi gothic" sound with great creativity, I learned a lot from this collaboration!
Could you share with everyone your guitar processing chain? I can attest that @oscillator did a great job on the guitars, they weren't this interesting when I recorded them!
I also got some positive feedback about Kasja's singing btw, and comparisons with Bjork
Also thanks for the feedback @Tenaba @jeanette_c!

Thank you for listening and commenting, @Tenaba and @jeanette_c!
@Basslint: Love that term, "mariachi gothic"! My guitar fx chain is nothing special, Calf Compressor, Calf 5 Band Eq, (GxMetalHead on the dist tracks), Calf Vintage Delay and then a Dragonfly Hall reverb on send. Those were very nice guitar tracks and bits to work with! I'm glad I got rid of all the arpeggiated synths!
