Captain Klonk

Post by jonetsu »

Some time now I haven't posted any music...

Q: Why do you make music ?

A: Because nobody else would do it.

Very interesting piece, with an unsettling mood I enjoyed very much!

Thanks. That's what happened when I pursued the idea of making something out of banging away, hands flat open, on the 4-octave piano keyboard. Really, no conscious chords are being played in that piece on the piano keyboard, just flapping away, a bit down there, a bit in the middle, a bit on the high notes.

Yes, it has a randomness to it that is interesting and mildly unsettling, matched and nicely complimented by the aggressive drum sounds. Very interesting piece. With the romantic sea painting I wasn't sure what to expect, but it certainly wasn't this! :)

Very fun to listen, reminded me of Primus; The conversation in the background has fit very well.

Creative, well-crafted and with a great sense of humour (at least to me) !

Primus, which, in turn, are (in my view) clearly Zappa-inspired. This piece kinda reminds me of some Zappa works!
The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they had everything in common. [Acts 4:32]

Absolutely, my comparison was based on my listening experience. Which sadly does not include Zappa yet.
