Not really my genre, but I liked the 60s vibe of the song! My only note would be on drums, that sound maybe a bit too synthetic?
Thank you so much!
Yes they sound a bit synthetic, so as the bass and some other instruments coming from soundfonts. The problem is that the drums line has been generated by JJazzLab (and then hardly modified), and it's done for GM Midi drums mapping. I tried some other GM drums but they didn't sound better. Others didn't have all the drums (less drums and sounds), others had to be completely remapped and remixed. I'm not a professional so I don't have all the time needed to do all that hard job.
Really cool video too! I was going to ask how you did it, and then saw your mention of Kdenlive: you really got something interesting out of it!
Actually I just did it in less than 30 minutes, I needed something not completely still so I came out with this idea of writing the text in a fancy way with Libreoffice Writer, save it as PDF, convert it to jpg, crop it phrase by phrase and put it on a video in sync with music. I think I should have done much better with Blender, if I had more time.
Only one note: as an open source developer, I really cannot accept the "Contributions are wrong" line

(just kidding, love the lyrics!

)

Well, actually the meaning of that song is "If you never do those things, you'll be forever alone!" so it actually agrees with you (and me, and all of us here I hope..!) about contributions ^_^
