My wife and daughter and myself recorded this cover on the weekend. Ardour6.3. We used the Salamander piano samples and I believe the Black Pearl 3.1 drum samples.

Nice family project! I like it.

I have been meaning to check out the Salamander piano samples. There was another recording posted here recently that used it.

This is a fun recording! My favorite part is the vocal harmony. I'm curious, what microphone(s) did you use?

For what it's worth, there are now a few variations of the salamander samples available. I used the Slender Salamander on my latest project. @CraigPid, which salamander piano did you use?

I don't know the song, but very much like this. it has a very 'authentic' feel.

My daughter is using it - for instance in her latest song, a 5/4 which she called "The rain's melody": https://www.wikiloops.com/backingtrack-jam-197542.php - played on her Yamaha Arius, but the sounds are Salamander. And that's Ardour 5.12 on her Dell notebook.

Cheers,
Wolfgang

Thank you everyone for listening.
@Michael Willis - It was a Shure SM57. Pretty basic setup.
