Hi
Lockdown has given me a chance to really get to grips with some linux music making software, and the results are out there for people to listen to if they like. I've tried hard to credit free software producers, but on reading the forums and seeing other people's credits I think I might go back and do more - I'm an Ardour user, and use lots of plugins.
Was also really pleased to make a tiny contribution to Ardour itself (I know it's tiny, but I'm really pleased!): https://github.com/Ardour/ardour/commit ... 236e54f249
Anyway, if you want to listen (and give feedback) then I appreciate your time.
Music is here (and available free):

Re: The Argent Grub
After posting this I was left wondering about how I could easily list and credit all the plugin producers, for the plugins used in an Ardour project.
One of the many great things about the free software community is the ability to ask, and to then modify your software, and so with a little help my problem is solved.
I've posted about how to do it here:
viewtopic.php?f=19&t=21980
(which is really just a link out the discussion on the Ardour forums, here: https://discourse.ardour.org/t/how-do-i ... ect/104641 )
..in case you are interested.

I think it would make a good soundtrack to a slideshow of images of all of these people who died. By itself the song is not very pleasant to listen to, but maybe that was your point.

I get what you were trying to achieve and applaud your intent and execution!
The community of believers was of one heart and mind, and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they had everything in common. [Acts 4:32]

Re: The Argent Grub (Made with Ardour)
Thanks @milo and @Basslint.
Yeah, it was really about trying to do 'something' and that's what came out. Researching the stories seems like a small thing to do in the great scheme of things, but it's emotionally hard, and I guess that gets infused in the track.
Thanks for taking the trouble to listen and comment.
