* The initial vision of the song was to make an 80's retro-like soundtrack-type song (What a description lol..), The song has changed a lot after much feedback and after some time of just 'sitting' on it.
* The song is about a young man's romantic struggle with a manipulative woman, that only by the grace of god he was able to get out of. (Straight from the song description,

Please grant me some feedback of this work. A lot of time has passed since i made another song and this one being the product of a planned EP, fits the mood perfectly; that's a big deal for me since not a lot of my songs actually end up fitting the vision. Anyways, I made this using Linux, lots of distros were tried due to some hardware support issues, I was also going through a system upgrade, and I did this using Cockos Reaper.

This is so spot on. I enjoyed it. It's good that you recorded all the background vocals. Nice selection of sounds. It would have been even more 80s with more reverb, but I am glad you used those sparingly.

wow thanks! and yeah, on the initial steps of the projects i did think about the "over the top" use of reverb but for this one, it didn't fit well so i dialed it back. I am contemplating riding the fader or rather automating my reverbs on the next track i make. Thanks for the feedback!

Gotta say that I really like your lyrics. The effect you have for that transition at 2:40 is cool too; the droning that starts about 5 seconds before it is great too!
