Again a (two) afternoon production, this tune doesn't contain any of my own playing, but now that I seem to have discovered a swift workflow for turning small raw musical ideas into presentable songs through editing and programming, it's making me happy to apply these techniques to the creative output of internet relay chat friends.
The original, 'only a mall impro' in the words of its creator, immediately fascinated me in its inspirational honesty & evocative simplicity, so motivation was coming naturally, I just needed sunny days to go ahead - I kind of heard the atmosphere I wanted to give this, from the very start, so here's my attempt to come up with an edited mix that would paint this picture, and, hopefully, leave the space for the listener to enjoy the evocative quality and let their imagination wander or fly

Hi!
Nice job on the production! This is a nice close your eyes and space out tune for sure! When I hear the wind noises on the intro I was like..." oh man where is this going..?" and then when that piano came in it was magic, loved the simple understated melody of the piano and the soft attack on the bass.. Actually the wind swirling around the other parts really contributed to the chill atmosphere... Good stuff!

Interesting... Transformations... Brightly sad mood... Nice work, both variants so pretty good!

I was also surprised by the direction you took this, but I like it a lot. I think the sound works well. The dinky drum sounds are a nice touch. The piece may be a bit long for so little variation, though.
