Not sure about the mix.
A relaxed piece, taking its time.

Re: Saunter
Reminds me of Krautrock, very nice!

Hi!
Really liked this one, develops very nicely and I liked the acoustic guitar breakdown in the middle section, great ambient reverbs and the bass also had a great tone.. Great stuff!

Re: Saunter
Agree with the Krautrock comment. This is a nice sound texture. I love your acoustic guitar tones mixed with electronic sounds.
I think you are right about the mixing on this one, though. It does seem a little rough. The guitar sounds maybe a bit too "dry" to convince me that it is part of the same song as the synths. It sounds like two separate sounds that aren't really merging into one.

Re: Saunter
Thanks !
Yes, some Krautrock was part of my uprising so to speak, most notably Amon Düül II and Can. At one point I had all the albums. Still like to listen to these bands from time to time.
The bass tone was saved in extremis, at the last minute. It can be difficult to take a step back and listen with fresh ears at times. At the last minute I dropped some booming bass freqs and pushed a bit in the midrange so that it wouldn't be too overwhelming while at the same time adding presence.
I could foresee that one, that this mix would need more work, and yes, the guitars could be made to fit in a bit better. Until then you'll have to believe me: I did not copy paste the guitar tracks from an unrelated session !
I'm sorry for not listening to the now many songs and pieces posted here as I was quite busy, managing only to come up with some original music here and there. I promise to catch up a bit later, although it'll be a matter perhaps of a month or so.
Cheers.
