The Space Traveller

Post by TAERSH »

Hi.

I'm in heavy doubt to get my feet on the ground, playing this song live to an audience. So I decided to upload the first 5 minutes in a video to my YouTube Channel.

The complete 39 minutes piece composed, arranged and mixed down in November 2019 was uploaded to my channel at Soundcloud.com.

Hope you'll like it as much as I do. ;)

Wow!

Sounds great! A very ambitious project! Great mixing and production especially on the drums.

Very impressive work. I listened to the entire track, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I like this very much! Large spacey sound! Love the chimes (right term?), which reminds me of Vangelis.

I only listened to the short YT version, where the vocals are a bit too "simple", I'd love some more lyrics, maybe tell a story?

MusE DAW running on Debian 11 Testing/XFCE4.

Flows quite nicely, you wouldn't think it's almost 40 minutes long, nice work! The voice gets a bit "weird" when it says "I'm a space traveller", but who am I to judge, I only sing in the shower

Welcome back! Haven't seen you around for a while.

Nice, ambitious prog track! Impressive drums, as always. I also like the visuals on this one.

Yeah, seems to be like I'm a Drummer?

Yes, but it's not possible to put all the lyrics and the whole story into the 5 minutes intro of a 39 minutes song. So, why not giving the full version a try?

Hehe, I like instrumental music much more. So, usually I don't even sing in the shower. I'm just forced to do all by myself.

Glad you could put your rage to some productive use! Many people have a hard time doing that. It reflects well on you. :)

This is a nice track! I don't think it feels like such a long song. :)
