Re: Alder Blooming - Blues Rock international linux collaboration
Ok, now Redux is fixed (public fix out soon), so now I have sampler I have been looking for. So maybe I will get something done with samples also!tavasti wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2020 6:40 pmFor me, Redux did not work, and support did not get that reproduced problem, so they did not get new customer. Bitwig costs too much for me, so can't test tools you have.jonetsu wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2020 6:32 pm After some minimal playing around with samples (using the Redux and the Bitwig sampler) I found that there's no need to get a sample that's fits exactly the purpose. A sample is rather an invitation to see what can be done with that audio, providing that there's a good tool to start with for doing so. Isolating good aspects, re-pitching, extending using reverb and delays, EQ'ing, many approaches can be used.
I am currently working on some stuff that could be potential for usage of samples, and there is territory where I need to learn more.
