Kind of prog rock, maybe. This is a remix of a piece from 3 years ago. It was fun remixing it since there are so many details, so many ways to process audio tracks.

Meant to reply earlier, but things have been busy. Pandemics have a way of throwing your life off balance.
This is a good listen. A very good blend of sounds, and pleasant to listen to. The overall mood of the piece is initially pensive, but turns definitely positive by the end. The lead synth is an effective voice -- I like that a lot.

You are working in the medical field if I'm not mistaken isn't it ?
Thanks ! On my side the melody grew on me by now as if it was a song made by somebody else, eg. from a CD, from the radio. As if it was created and now walks away on its own. This is a good listen. Yes, but thankfully not on the front lines. I am a specialist in a rural underserved area, so people wait months to have an appointment in my clinic. Social distancing rules have forced me to change my clinic schedule a lot. I'm only seeing urgent cases (and people with less urgent cases who are apparently skeptical of germ theory and who insist on keeping the appointment they have been waiting months for).
When I go home I am the "assistant principal" for all of our kids who are suddenly home schooled. A lot of it is tech support. I had to go buy another computer because we didn't have enough at first.
So thankfully I am not working 16-hour shifts, wearing PPE the whole time, and then sleeping at the hospital so that I don't bring the germ home. We might get to that point, but we're not there yet. We'd have to have many times more cases and lose a number of my colleagues to the illness before they put a neurologist on the front lines.
But I am glued to the stats. It is so awesome to see exponential growth in real time!

Love this track! Definitely some Porcupine Tree vibe in it.jonetsu wrote: ↑Tue Mar 24, 2020 2:28 pm Kind of prog rock, maybe. This is a remix of a piece from 3 years ago. It was fun remixing it since there are so many details, so many ways to process audio tracks.

Thanks. It's a wonder how far a single note bass arp can go. I always marvel at how Buta was made, using a single bass riff all the way, except in the break where actual clear and different bass notes are heard, without even attracting much of the attention concerning the sameness.
